Why we exist

Children and adults going about daily life along a village lane lined with wooden homes

Our mission is to improve the lives of individuals and communities in need by partnering with local communities and organizations to serve vulnerable populations, strengthen families, and create lasting positive change throughout Southeast Asia and other underserved communities.

The work is planned with humility. We want to learn from the people and communities we hope to serve, build relationships, and focus on practical needs that can improve everyday life.

What guides us

Hope

We believe hope can help people see possibility beyond their present circumstances.

Compassion

We want the people and communities we serve to be treated with dignity, care, and respect.

Faith in action

Our Christian faith calls us to put compassion into practice through generosity, service, and meaningful relationships.

A story of gratitude

Radina's story

Cambodia gave Radina a beautiful childhood and memories she continues to carry with her.

That childhood was changed by the suffering and hardship of the Khmer Rouge regime. Like many others, she experienced loss, uncertainty, and circumstances no child should have to endure.

Through God's grace, she later had the opportunity to rebuild her life in the United States, a place that provided freedom, opportunity, and many blessings.

She never forgot where she came from or the people whose lives were changed by those difficult years. Her desire to give back comes from gratitude rather than obligation.

Bridge of Life and Hope Foundation grew from a desire to use the blessings and opportunities she received to bring practical support, dignity, compassion, and hope to people facing hardship.

Her journey taught her that circumstances can change dramatically, but hope can carry people forward. The foundation represents a bridge between people who have been blessed with the ability to help and people who are in need.

“I feel a deep calling to give back, not out of obligation, but out of gratitude.”Radina S. Tuot, President

Why Southeast Asia

Beginning where the story begins.

The foundation plans to initially focus on underserved communities in Cambodia and the Philippines. This beginning is personal, but the mission is open to other underserved communities as it grows.
